Selfchat
A private daily check-in for moods, habits, and relationships.
Selfchat turns a short daily conversation into a record of moods, sleep, habits, and relationships. We created the identity, mapped the conversation and product flow, designed the interface, and built the iOS experience around quick check-ins and longer-term patterns.

The challenge
To build a smart bot and identity that would mirror your own smart self, keeping tabs on your thoughts, moods, and habits, from sleep patterns to water intake to the habits you’d rather change.

We built an identity for… an identity. Selfchat is personal, and like nothing or no one else. So we celebrated that with a logo that measures up.

How are you, really?
We wanted Selfchat to be the first thing you’d check in the morning: a little check-in, something you’re grateful for, and the best intentions for the day ahead.

Here’s how it started, in wireframes.

And here’s what it grew into: a simple, easy to use platform that tracks everything you do, and keeps it yours.

With a simple emoji answer to how you’re feeling every day, or a little input on how many zzz’s you got in, or even how much time you spent meditating, Selfchat keeps track of how you’re doing, so you keep doing better each day.

A smartwatch can log your heart rate. It can’t tell you how your heart is actually doing.
Give it a try. We bet you’ll be in the best company.
